Snap in carpet

I have a 2014 220 . The snap in carpet neoprene backing is starting to stick to my floor and rip off the carpet when removing. I've seen posts to use flex seal on the neoprene. Does anyone recommend using the spray on or the paint on flex seal? Thanks

do a search for "carpet backing"... BBP posted a good solution. Used it on my
snap-in carpet, no problems so far.

Is getting larger every day. In a month we will have our 4th grand kid.
Youngest son literally just finished tech school today. So he is now a full time working adult and ready to get busy in the heating and cooling industry. I still play with Powersport toys everyday. Mrs. Bbp is doing well and getting her used to TRL so hoping to get a second place there one day.
We will have the core again there for the regatta! Come on down A7👍
Still have the boat sitting in the garage waiting for summer. It will be middle of June before we get her out. But hey we bought 2 new tubes for this year 👍😂

How's the fam on your end? And chat fam?
Heck it's been awhile I'm sure since a thread got derailed on here 😂😂

Sorry bud. I've been dealing with car Jaguar headaches. Finally dumped it. I owned it for 12 months and it was in the shop for 7 months. Never again.
Just got my boat ready this past weekend for this summer.

Great to hear about the fam. Ours is great as well.

But Jaguar?? Who talked you into that one. Glad to hear you’re moving on my friend. Some good looking cars but they’ll eat your bank account alive.

It had over a year factory Certified warranty on it or I would never have bought it. I said if it was good for a year I would keep it. Nope junk gone!

Over the weekend I sprayed flex seal on the back of the original snap in carpet of my new to me 2005 Cobalt 200. The top of the carpet was perfect but the underside was crumbling and left a black dust all over the boat.

I covered all the snaps and used painter tape to tape off the edges, then gave it a good coat and smoothed any high spots with a plastic putty knife. Lastly I gave it a 2nd coat 24 hours later.

The results were awesome! Saved well over a $1,000 USD in ordering replacement carpeting
