Weighting an R7 surf

Has anyone added ballast bags or weights to their Surf model? If so, where did you place them? The wave given from our R7 Surf is probably high enough but but is short. I'm thinking of adding a 370lb bag in the ski locker to push the bow down in hope of getting a longer wave - at 195lbs I tend to find my push pretty close to the platform and its a very narrow range so I lose it pretty quickly. TIA!

May want to check with our more experienced owners, my understanding is that Cobalt had ballasts in the ski locker but it made the wave worse and they took out the ski locker ballast. Heard a solution of just getting the fat sack out and laying it in the aft on the ground when needed then putting it up. R7S wave has been fine for us when a 200+ pound person sits back there.
With the bigger wave, sometime it can be harder to surf for beginners if the wave gives more push. We prefer the R7 smaller wave for that reason actually, but we are casual surfers at best

I have found that I (235lb) can surf behind the R7 fairly well, for me it is more about keeping my balance than the shape of the wave. However I do feel like there is less push when people are sitting in front of the boat.
Before adding the weight to the front, just have a couple people sit up there and find out.
It can be very nerve racking as you accelerate to close to the back of the boat. Especially for those of us who are older and tend to fear things more than our teens or 20 something's that haven't developed that sense of fear!
