Power steering actuator
Hello I have a 2014 220, power steering leak at the steering actuator. Has anyone had experience removing one and resealing it? I see I can get A reseal kit from 5 star marine for 75.00. My dealer wants 1100.00 for new actuator and says volvo penta does not supply seals to reseal it. I saw some videos on line and does not seem too complicated of process.

Re: Power steering actuator
I changed mine myself last year for a grand also. You can get a rebuilt one on ebay for half the cost but I went new. Mine was easy to get at. I still have my old core of you want to try it on that for 100 bucks plus shipping?
Not sure I would rebuild it myself. When mine went out completely it made a mess in the bilge. Don't wait to long. Then no power steering then a pump.
