Cobalt R4 Forward Bilge - Water

Hi All,

Today after getting back to my dock after seeing fire works, the boat was sitting in the dock and the forward bilge turned on by itself, emptied for 20-30 seconds. It was the first time I've seen the forward bridge come on before. The rear bilge area was dry as a bone.

Is it normal to have water in the forward bilge but not the rear bilge? Where is the forward bilge and how does the water typically get in there? Can you access this area?

I guess I didn't realized until today that I even had a working forward bilge.

Thanks!

No help here. Never even heard of a forward bilge.

"Is it normal to have water in the forward bilge but not the rear bilge?"

Yes. Just went through that.

It can be caused by rain water, leaky water hose, water draining from the anchor compartment.

Fortunately, you have a "working forward bilge."

Totally agree. Super glad that i have it. I was more wondering where the bilge is located and how one would access it if ever need be?
