missing fusion MS-RA70 block volume knob

Has anyone has their black volume knob come loose while driving the boat and fly into the water? Now the turn knob is exposed metal piece. This is a brand new boat. Is this something that happens a lot?

That looks more like a remote, maybe a MS-ERX400? In any event, the knobs don't usually come off that I've heard (I have the same remote). Garmin (Fusion) will sell replacement parts, and their number is 1(800) 800-1020
