Hello All I'm new to the forum.

I have recently purchased a 2022 R-30 with the premium sound package.

It consists of a Fusion WB 670 remoted stereo unit and 2 ERX 400 wired remotes, one at the helm and one at the stern/platform.

While working with the Fusion support staff in order to re-regester MFDs and to update all software and to chase down a possible blown fuse. I need to find the WB 670 unit.

I am unable to locate the head unit or the ethernet switch if in fact it is installed from the factory. The wiring appears to be traveling aft on the starbord side.

ANY Help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance

I don't know that model boat (I've seen the insides of a handful of smaller Cobalts) but it's often on the starboard side somewhere behind the bow seat in the split console. There's often a panel covering it, but perhaps even if it's not there the ERX400 wires might be visible and point you in the right direction.

If you really can't find it after a bit of poking around, Cobalt's customer service is pretty responsive - you can call the number on their website 1 (800) 468-5764 and someone will help you out.

Just closing out this thread with some info incase anyone else has similar issues. Mine is slightly older and has the Rockford Fosgate system but the setup appears the same. The main 'head' unit is located in the head... hidden right under the step down. I always wondered why they put a radio unit in the toilet! Now I understand that *is* the radio, the other ones are just repeaters. I guess that makes them easier to fit in the smaller spaces around the dash and transom.
