R6 Surf 350 Banging when placed in forward.

I'm experiencing an issue with my new (used from dealer with 80hrs) 2023 Cobalt R6 Surf with a 350 Volvo engine and would appreciate any insights or similar experiences.

After about 5 hours of use, the boat developed a banging noise when shifting into forward. At times, it was extremely loud, causing the entire boat to shake. I took it to the dealer, who changed the fluid and made some adjustments, which temporarily resolved the issue- it was again shifting smooth as ice.

However, after another 5 hours of use, the problem has returned. The banging is quite severe - I've captured a video, but it doesn't do justice to how loud and jarring it is in person. It's strong enough to shake the board rack.

We've owned boats for over 25 years and haven't encountered anything like this before. Our usage has been normal, nothing out of the ordinary.

I'm wondering if this is a known characteristic of this model or if there's potentially a more serious underlying issue. Has anyone else experienced similar problems with their R6 Surf?

Any advice or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help!
