I have a Cobalt R3 with black plastic trim to the sides of the steering wheel and around the port side storage area. It has some spotting that I'd like to get cleaned off. Any ideas on what to use? Armor All? other? Thanks! John

Armor All used to have a lot of silicone in it, so once you started using it you were pretty much tied to using it over and over again to keep it looking nice.
Do you know what caused the spots? My first instinct would be to scrub it well with a soapy rag, but people might be able to recommend a cleaner if you know the source of the problems.

I'm really not sure what "stained" it. The pictures above are actually not from my boat, but looks really similar to mine. Especially the larger spot on the port side storage unit trim. May be a greasy finger print.

My first goto for cleaning the interior vinyl and seats is water with a small amount of dish soap like Ivory Liquid (this is what Cobalt recommends) for heavier clean if that does not do the job, I use Spray 9. After I finish with 303 Vinyl protectant - much better than Armor All, leaves things looking more like new than the shiny greasy feel of Armor All.

Thanks...I have Spray 9 and 303, so good idea over Armor All.

The 303 Vinyl Protectant - not the other 303 protects.
I also use the other 303 products:
303 Fabric Protector for canvas/covers
303 Detailer for fiberglass areas, glass and stainless steel - it's like a quick spray wax removes water spots and leaves a wax protectant / shine.
