Access to blackwater tank and seacock

Hi guys,

Does anyone know how to access the blackwater tank? I have the R30 but they should all be similar. I believe the tank sits under the port bow seat that reclines against the back wall of the heads. The seat cushion feels like it has a hinge line at the front edge and maybe should hinge up/forwards towards the front storage bin.

Should there be a pull tab perhaps that someone has shut under the seat cushion? If so anyone got any idea how to access it?

I have a blackwater pump-out issue on this recently purchased beauty but I can't get to it. I highly doubt I access through the back wall of the head.

Thanks in advance

Admin,

Could you please bump this to the R-Series thread so maybe someone sees it?

Funny that across most of the USA people are 'winterizing' their boats right now where as we are finally getting to use them here in the UAE without burning our feet on the carpets or burning our armpits on the Stainless window surround while putting the fenders on! Perhaps I won't get an answer until Spring when you guys start thinking about boating again... and I will be 'summerizing' mine for storage again :D

Best regards to all

Are you trying to switch where the black water goes? That valve is in the ski locker up high on the port side, 3 way valve I believe, on my R7.
