Went out on the lake on Saturday with some friends. Air temp was in the high 60's.

Kas, the 232 looking sweet and the trail behind videos make great viewing. So jealous as my 220 has been put away since Sept and now awaiting ice out. I have the same color setup as yours, and also the 8.1 GXI. None of my friends can keep up to take video. :-)

The boat taking the photos had to hold back to take the photos. They were in a 23 foot Laveycraft that will run over 70. Same engine (except Merc) but it is a lot lighter and only had 2 on board.

A quick aside on Black/Yellow Cobalts - when I took mine for the initial test drive, thought it was a really dark navy blue. Even commented as to why a blue boat had black ropes. Well it WAS black but a great deal and in fabulous shape, so we bought a "Bruins" boat vs a Blue Angels.

Fast forward the 4 years we have owned the 220. My daughters bought me a nice LL Bean zippered duffle for Christmas to keep items together on the boat, even embroidered it with yellow/gold 'Cobalt'. I thanked them and said - "a navy bag for a black boat." Their response - "we thought it was a dark navy." :-)

It's funny...In a lot of the photos I have, my boat looks black, not Navy which it is.

The photo with the boat inside was 2 years ago. We were there last July as well, but unfortunately in August, that arch collapsed.

I thought I remember you mentioning that. That's even more reason to blow that pic up and hang it above the mantle.
