Looking to buy a R5 NON surf model
Freshwater boat only
Would prefer VP 380 or Merc 8.2 but would entertain the 350 VP or Merc
Captains call exhaust (not a deal breaker if it doesn’t have it)
Will need a trailer so preferably one with a trailer but can source one if need be

We were lucky enough to stumble upon almost exactly what you are looking for. Love the 8.2, it was worth the effort to find one. They are VERY difficult to find with Captians Call.

Katie has looked at adding exhaust to our boat, Corsa makes the kit. Its about $4,500 installed. I am still hesitant to cut 4.5in holes in a perfectly good Transom, but I believe Chadwick is going to come and do that for me while I dont look.

Either way, good luck /w the search, you will be thrilled once you find the one.

Beginning of 2021, we bought our 2017 R5 for $85K with trailer and 350 Merc(113 hours). Even on Tahoe with a 21" prop it has enough power for us.

I might have what you’re looking for. 2013 R5, VP 380, one-owner, about 340 hours, basically loaded with all options except windlass. Bought new, owned & operated and maintained by an extreme OCD and anal person…..that would be me! Located at Harbor Pointe marina on Lake Martin, Alabama. Below are a few random pictures.

If this might work for you, post a way for me to contact you outside the forum. Thanks.

Beautiful boat!

Gotta ask, was that last photo taken at Tonka Bay Marina?
