Used Boat Lift

Looking at a used 7000lb Shorestation Boat Lift. The lift is in good shape and is 8 years old. Comes with 28ft canopy, just right for our boat. Dealer wants $16000. Debating idea of going used or just bite the bullet and go new. New lift with canopy runs around $27000. Looking for opinions.
