Folding arch and cover

Just took ownership of a 2023 R8 surf. It’s a little to tall to fit on our lift so I have to fold the arch. However, with the arch folded down I don’t see how I can get the cockpit cover on as the arch folds below where the cover goes. What am I missing?

The Cobalt covers I see around my marina (a Cobalt dealer) are made to fit around the arch, not over them, even when they are folded down.
