Captains Call Exhaust Option

Anyone order their boat with captains call, or heard a cobalt with it? Did a quick search, and didn't see anything. I know it's not for everyone..Just wondering if any out there? Curious how it sounds, and where does the exhaust emit? Traditionally you see it out side on Crownline...Where does Cobalt set theirs up?

I had one installed in August. Uses the existing wiring and switch on the helm, CM6.

Corsa kit hooks into exhaust manifold and departs at the transom..

Several of us here LOVE our Captain's Call....and some of us here wish they had it...unless you are Tuscany, he doesn't want it.

But, I am one of the few boating wives that LOVE the Captain's Call...it sounds great, even on our 6.2...even better on the big blocks. Thru hull comes out the back, under the swim platform...

It was never a "must have" option for me, until I had it and now it will be required on the next one!

Just wait for Yt to chime in he just bought his 262 with it. Myself the Volvo is pretty loud compared to my mercs so I don't miss it as much. If I was ordering a new boat there is no doubt I would have it added. I wish my bb had it barking under the platform. I'm just too cheap to add it to this boat.

Got any video of the 6.2L CC? I am ordering the Merc 6.2 350HP, and wonder how it would sound since it isn't a BB

Here you go, ignore my sister yelling, she apparently loves Captains Call as much as I do. https://youtu.be/fgZyNfHWsxQ

Best thing about Captains Call? Starting up the boat in the marina at 8am and forgetting it is on. Nothing like waking up the houseboat folks...

You are ordering, correct?

Let me pose this question.. What would you rather have for the extra money you are investing? A loud exhaust on a small block or a nice step up in horsepower and torque?
I’m a little old school. My personal hang up with it? if you are advertising HP with straight pipes, you better be capable of a lot more than 45 mph.
That’s just me.

Enjoy yourself.
It's switchable for those times you want quiet. Performance?? Yeah a small amount but the sound cruising fast.. well worth it no matter what the cubic inches.
May we add a 430hp as well??

See Aslan7 263. That's textbook perfect install.. center rear.. above waterline at idle!! Fun!!

I have captains call as well. Unfortunately I don’t have a video yet. But I personally love it. My last boat didn’t have it and it was a must have when boat shopping.

My last boat had CC that you could not turn off. I loved it because you never had to decide. It was a 6.2 320 hp merc & sounded great. The previous owner included all the parts to turn it back to a regular exhaust but my wife ended up liking it. You could say she was a "Nauti" girl!

You’re not alone man. I would actually not buy a boat bc it has it on there. If I had an offshore racer I would absolutely have it.
