Cigarette Lighter

Post by Lowrider03 »

Looking to replace the cigarette lighter with a marine grade usb plug. Does anyone know if the triangular panel that has this plug, the horn and two AUX toggles pops off or am I going to have to try to tech it from the access panel in the head?

Thanks everyone!

If I recall correctly mine had to be removed from the back. Not super hard, and worth doing.

I did a similar replacement in my 210 not long ago (mine was Fusion-branded, I think?), and connected it to my radio so I could charge devices or play off a USB stick, and the socket I used had an 1/8" phono jack input as well. See https://www.cobaltchat.com/viewtopic.php?p=113916

Just to close the loop on this one, it simply pried off from the collar on the front. Easy peasey.
