Anybody know what this silver button is for?
(I’m a pilot and HAVE to know what every button does. It’s an OCD thing!)
I “Ass-U-Me” it’s related to the A/C……??

So glad you found us JG.
Without owning a 360, that would be my guess too with that thermostat controller next to it. Can totally relate about knowing the function of every switch. Keep is posted.
What’s your aviation background?
And welcome aboard mate!

Re: Silver button next to A/C panel??
Age 3-17 of the owner's manual discusses that panel, but doesn't show the switch: https://cobaltboats.com/art/manuals/2002_360_OM.pdf
I think Aslan's probably right - someone wired a switch in to be able to definitively shut off the AC. Of course, it could be anything if it was done aftermarket. I'd be curious enough to unscrew the panel and see what's going on behind there...

I have unscrewed the panel in an effort to see about adding a Bluetooth Dongle to the radio, but could not get it to move.
(Maybe just need a bigger screwdriver and hammer?)

This button is not part of the official Cobalt 360 build. Previous owner installed it. To figure out remove the mirror in your head (marine term for the toilet). You will find lotsa interesting things there. Trace wires from that button and find out what it is. Welcome to the forum!
