Re: Boat Insurance
Do NOT get Geico. Absolutely a joke. Depreciated payouts each year of your boat. The crazy COVID prices on boats is not in consideration with Geico and how they payout. Shop carefully and do your due diligence. Cheap price of insurance is usually a bad sign you are throwing money away when a claim ...

Re: Swim Platforms
Just a follow up. So I reached out to the gentleman that added the cobalt flip step swim platform. Here are more pictures. Notice the custom bracket he made. A local machine shop in his area created the stainless steel piece from his card board and then wood templates.
He also told me his dealer ...

Re: Swim Platforms
Ok, so I found another chat area where a person actually bought the platform from Cobalt with flip step. Here is the process of installing himself:
Here is the abbreviated process I went through to add the deck-
1) Ordered a swim deck for a later model 262 ($4000.00)(part #620253S)

Re: Oct 2020 pics
I am curious how your boat looks still after the original Ceramic Wax? Did it last longer and shine than a regular wax? When will you Ceramic Wax again? Finally was it worth the price compared to regular wax? Thanks in advance.

Re: Swim Platforms
I am wondering if it is possible to have the Cobalt Flip Step swim deck installed on my 262 model. Does anyone know roughly what the price would be from a Cobalt dealer for the add on?

Flag or Umbrella mount for your boat
This is what I have been searching for and finally found it. You can now fly your flag or put a huge umbrella on the rear deck of your boat if you have a twist lock drop in mount on your rear deck.

Re: Heber Springs, AR 2004 Cobalt 262
Video coming soon of part 2. It was interesting to watch the mechanic remove certain items on the boat to access hidden areas of where the screws held the wood parts. Total time to have the swap out was 6 hours. Cost of labor was $500. I would highly recommend getting someone that has boat/auto ...

AsLan7, here is a link to my video part 1 of taking out the dash and how it is done, what I have experienced for part 1 . The part 2 will be how to reinstall new dash. Maybe might want to make a header for this link so others can see how it’s done. https://youtu.be/K3fO1vHNo2E

Re: Heber Springs, AR 2004 Cobalt 262
Interesting. I had no idea that was for the transom shower. I had someone ask me if I had a transom shower head awhile back and no clue what they were talking about. So what would someone use the transom shower head for anyways?
