Re: Engine Shaming

I had seen those posts when we first joined the forum. Even read them to my husband. Crude, yes. But how many months ago was this? Can you not let it go and start fresh or do you enjoy playing the victim?

I am all for anybody getting out on the water with whatever means they can. It’s not beneath ...

Re: Engine Shaming

I have seen the origination of the 2 different posters that I’m referring to, going back many months. The posts in the last few days, IMO, crossed the line to a new level of snarkiness.

To each his own, though.
I’m just calling it as I see it and would be embarrassed if someone like Mr. St. Clair ...

Engine Shaming

First off, I would like to say that I have enjoyed this forum since joining in the spring. Both my husband and I have learned a few tips and tricks to make our boating time more enjoyable. We have both laughed til tears are streaming down our faces from the stories that have been told on here and ...

Where can I get a shade like That?

The umbrella came from hayneedle.com
Did quite a bit of searching on internet looking for one with the 1.375 od that didn’t cost an arm and a leg. Website stated 1.375 in specs but was actually 1.41 od. My husband was able to shave it down in order to fit in ...

We are having the same issues on our R5. Started acting up last month. Hopefully it is just an update issue.

Re: Hi from the UK

Cobalt boats are rare in the U.K., but when you see one you realise the quality. Just about to order my fist Cobalt, an R3. Trying to get around the EU tariffs of 25% on US boats, that’s why we’re leaving the EU.
Can someone advise if the cockpit table is too big for the R3? I’ve seen some images ...

Water levels finally going down in eastern Oklahoma so we decided to take a day trip to Lake Eufaula yesterday. Long day but a good time. Came home last night thinking we would be back on Arbuckle today so no need to drive down last night to put her back in storage. Spotty thunderstorms today in ...

Re: Hi from the UK

Hi Trevor -
In our opinion, the table is tight in our R5. I think there is a smaller round table that might be a good fit for you in an R3. Definitely agree with BBP about getting the dealer to install. The table comes with 2 slide in brackets. One is installed in the back of the boat, but we’ve ...

Welcome from another Okie. Beautiful boat and matching trailer. We have day tripped to PK this summer, not a bad drive. Lunch/drinks at Lush Resort were great. Will look for y’all next time we are there.
Happy Boating!

We did not sign a service agreement either. The only thing mentioned was to use an "authorized" VP/Cobalt location for any/all warranty work.
