Much appreciated. Does seem bigger than 2 11/16" but guys tend to think their tubes are bigger than they actually are. I catch the ladies staring at my tower often so I've never felt the need to measure.

My 04 262 is 2 11/16" at the base of the rear tube. Hope that helps. I was needing to know as well. Cover was on so I didn't crawl up there to measure where the speakers will hang but don't think it gets bigger as it continues up and around

3 1/2" sounds more like it. They're definitely solid. How many 272's have you seen with the 262 style docking lights?

BBP amps are JL m800 8 channel and JL m600 6 channel

Thanks for the input. I'll go 2 10" subs. BBP the towers are 7.7" they will provide good mid range. Subs for low range and 6.5" high range.

This was recommended by a guy from Creative Audio. I have a 2006 272 with 2 batteries. Would that not suffice? I'll ask him about this. I appreciate the input.

I have a hard time believing the tower is less than 2 inches in diameter?

Bought boat in February with the Bimini top laying inside the boat. I know the longer frame Bimini goes toward bow but not sure exactly how or where to install. Same with stern side Bimini. Any help much appreciated!

Power light on amp is not lit but there is a faint white noise coming from speakers. Head unit on with song name and song time playing but no sound. Everything worked last Thursday Friday and Saturday, Sunday morning nothing.

It was first weekend on lake after fluids changed. Drive oil being low was mentioned by my mechanic.
