Thank you! I'm in Huntsville, AL. The boat is at my buddy's dealership at Tim's Ford Lake in TN. I figured it would get more traffic being closer to the lake.

It's been great, but we just aren't using it. Too many other things going on right now. We've decided to sell the boat and all accessories with it.

I'd appreciate it if you could spread the word. She needs a good home.

I just got mine back as well. It looks great! I think the texture is different now... not as rough feeling.

I bought one for like $35. I hooked it up this week to the led lights on my wetsounds recon 6 cabin speakers. It was so easy to hook up. I ultimately used an acc switch on my dash as the master on switch. It has a remote to control the lights.

Very cool device and cheap.

Mine is getting done now. Should have it back next week. Service guy said the texture doesn't feel as deep as before. My guess, just a guess, is that the texture was holding moisture and allowing some type of oxidation of the metal below it.

There isn't adhesive. They are metal panels with screws holding them in.

Going to reach out to them again.

update... I spoke with Cobalt directly. Still no updates on this interior. Apparently, they are waiting on samples from their supplier to test. I'm trying to stay patient, but this design flaw is really beginning to drag on with no definite dates/fixes yet.

Update:

I talked to my dealer today to find out when the new panels will be in. I was told that Cobalt is still testing to find ones that won't stain/discolor/whatever it is.

Will do! I was actually going to contact them tomorrow and get it scheduled.

Price increases are the Malibu way. I used to buy a new malibu every year. After the 3rd one, I just couldn't do it anymore... prices increased steadily
7-9% each year.

The good news in the wakeboat market is, now, since the prices on new ones are insanely high, used prices are going up as well ...

Get a 6 channel amp and put each speaker on its own channel. What speakers are you running?
