Re: 2021 Table Rock Cobalt Regatta
Well we decided to scrap our original vacation plans last minute and head down to Table Rock! I get off work this morning so I will nap, get the boat ready and Lord willing finish the 500 mile trip before midnight... and be in the water bright and early Friday for the cruise! I worked 96 hours the ...

Re: July Pics 2021
Lewis & Clark is nice for us for day trips, as it is only an hr 15min North of us. If you have the time, also check out Lake Francis Case. It's an hour west of L&C and has WAY cleaner water, less boat traffic, more coves, and is bigger.

Re: New member new to me boat
Thanks Macarokks,
I am in Norfolk, Nebraska.
The smart tabs work great! Sorry to all that I never got back to posting an update. They really help get it on plane faster and make a huge difference when pulling a tube at 20mph. Also, I hit 47mph by gps the other day with the tabs and 4 blade, so they ...

Re: New member new to me boat
Thanks ytmsn.
I got the 4 blade prop and made use of my new rechargeable work light and got the smart tabs installed!
I’ll be taking it out Saturday and Sunday and will let you all know how they work.

Re: New member new to me boat
It should be pretty close to the ideal prop size and pitch I would imagine. This weekend I was cruising at 39mph by gps, into the wind, with a 3 person tube tied down to the sundeck catching wind, 3 adults, 4 kids, and sitting around 4200 rpm I think it was and with throttle to spare yet. We had a ...

Dudley67 that looks real nice. Now I just need a nice workspace like that out of the snow during the winter
Big Block Power I ordered a 14.5x17p 4 blade so we will see if that helps. Thanks!

Re: New member new to me boat
15x17p prop and looks like 1.50 gears. I have not had a chance to test WOT rpm yet. But if I remember right 3000 rpm was in the 28-30mph range. But my wife says I don’t remember right very often...

Re: New member new to me boat
It was just dusty from sitting in a garage for 3 years. Nauticus emailed me back and said I need 10” of clearance from the edge of the hull. I will measure that and check the pitch of the prop. It is a normal looking aluminum 3 blade.

New member new to me boat
Hello,
Just got a 1989 cobalt 19br. I cannot believe how smooth it handles boat traffic and white caps. Of course I am coming from a 70’s Starcraft 16’ aluminum :) It does bow rise something fierce when pulling a tube. Is there room for smart tabs with the swim platform being so low? I am hoping to ...
