Just a follow up. So I reached out to the gentleman that added the cobalt flip step swim platform. Here are more pictures. Notice the custom bracket he made. A local machine shop in his area created the stainless steel piece from his card board and then wood templates.

This is probably gonna be a tough one but figured if anyone would know it would be someone within this forum. I have a 2001 262 with the arch. I just remove the arch to have some paint work done to it and it is held on by five nuts on each side. Anyone have any idea what the torque spec on those ...

8.1 riser torque specs?
I found a full manual but it doesn't have the riser torque specs and the only thing I found via the search function was the german torque setting of "goodantight" LOL I was going to settle around 30ft lbs and check them periodically but was hoping one of y'all had the actual recommended torque specs

I only use volvo 10w40. I'm a manufacturer brand guy.
Man I definitely am too, cheap insurance. The verbiage from volvo saying for 2002 and newer is what is messing with me and making me question running the 10w-40 volvo oil

Hey all! Noob here, just got a new to me 2001 262 with the 8.1Gi (under 300 hours!)
