Morning gentlemen
I have an 03 263 with a high altitude outdrive.
I'm trying to get the gearing or purchase a lower end with the correct ratio for zero feet.
Do I change gear ratio and impellers?
Anyway to find out what I have versus what I need by part numbers on my outdrive?
Thanks for any input.

Re: Domed CF Numbers
Those reg stickers suck. If you try to peel them some states say void through them. Some are cut and you can't see that some won't peel completely off and part of it sticks to the boat. Good luck but you may need to buy new ones. Just a heads up.
I decided I’d get new decals before I attempt to ...

Re: Domed CF Numbers
Thanks for the tips.
It’s been raining here so I’ve just been chillin with some cognac and a great book in the library.
Should get it done today with better weather as these hideous ones have to go.
Sure hope I can get the crooked 19 Reg decals off to straighten as well...

Looks like you need to fix some gel on the chine. Port side
He’ll be here to repair it on Wednesday. There is also another tiny chunk missing towards the rear.
Great observation.

Re: Hydro Hoist Bunk Settings
The photo is deceptive, there’s an easy 4 inches between the metal support and hull.AsLan7 wrote: Sat Feb 24, 2018 6:50 pm Makes me a little nervous with how close those metal cross beams are to your hull, but you obviously have it under control. Glad to see it all "fits".

Re: Hydro Hoist Bunk Settings
You have my curiosity.
My bunks are a full foot short of the hull end.
Yikes!!
So this is bad news and they should definitely go past the end (transom)?

Hydro Hoist Bunk Settings
So I hated the way my lift installer left the bunks. The boat strikes would sit right on the bunks.
A few other observations noted while the strakes sat on the bunks. Boat would tilt after I had 3 beers because it wouldn’t self center. The windshield would be 1/2 inch from hitting the dock cover ...

Re: Simrek Drive Shower
Hehe
I raised the outdrive and literally hung over the rear platform. Brought out my crappiest back up for my back ups back up tools.
Fingers were slightly chilled but no big deal.
I’m feeling a little more protected now:-)

Re: Simrek Drive Shower
Installed the shower while the boat was in the water.
No dropped hardware or tools.
