Belt dust?

Noticed black dust in the bilge after our last outing. Am I starting to lose my belt or maybe water pump? I dont see any areas of the belt that are chewed up and it rotates smooth with engine on.

Raw water pump mounting screws are 25-29 ft lb.

Raw water pump holding bracket screws do not have a spec.

Re: ‘05 272 bilge float switch

Re: ‘05 272 bilge float switch

I got it out. Once screw into floor. One screw into transom.

Replacing the pump and float switch.

Re: VP shift pod; what size bolt?

Upon feeling around more closely, I think its one of the bolts that holds the silver piece to the boat. When I shift, the silver pieces flexes and creates a gap between it and the brown face.

VP shift pod; what size bolt?

One of the bolts that holds my VP shift / throttle pod to my boat came loose. I can blindly feel the threaded rod that should have a washer & nut on it, but have no clue what size it is.
Anyone know?
