Survey on new boat?
How many do a survey on a new boat? Obviously required on a used boat but our dealer is recommending we dont spend the money.

What would be the point? Any issues will be covered under warranty, right? This is akin to paying to get your home inspected for new construction. Shouldn't be any "surprise" issues on a new boat.

Agreed. Never heard of getting a survey on a brand new boat.
