Hours

Post by nlmajors »

Recently purchased a 2003 Cobalt 240 with a 5.7 Gxi engine. Per dealer it has 800 hours on it but I have not been able to find an hours meter or gauge. Nothing on the dash calculating hours. How do I figure out the hours on the engine?

It has to have a hour meter in the engine compartment. Otherwise the danger can connect it to their computer and get the hours out of the ecu as long as it's the original ecu to that boat.

There’s really no danger involved. But the dealer can check it 😉
