Hmmmm. Maybe I got ripped off. Mine doesn't have the CC switch.

Do you think the wiring is also installed but no lights added Southern?

Sorry just saw this. Well the switches are all wired up and light up even if not used but whether the actual lighting wires would be run I'm not sure.

I'm thinking they are from what I've seen in all the ones I've played with.

I had led strips installed in all of my Cubbies. Is that what you're talking about? You can get it done much much cheaper than what you can order it from Cobalt for. That will save money when you're ordering to put towards things that you can only get from Cobalt.
Or you can have lights installed in your speakers.

The only advantage of ordering it from Cobalt would be the switch and wiring would be in place. Depending on how handy you are working with wiring, cutting holes in the boat, and OCD about all dash switches matching etc. Then it might be worth it depending on the cost.

I would think though that even if you go with Cobalt you’re gonna want to upgrade shortly if you boat any at night. That’s assuming Cobalt doesn’t offer a multi-color change with the music system now.

I have 2 open acc switches with wiring to them to use for the led lights. I did find led speaker rings I'm going to install during the off season. Looks like blast led are good ones and they are light changing.

Thanks Tara. I checked with the dealer about changing mine but that's great as diy.

I have speaker rings on my new boat and have no need for led light strips or any other lighting. They work really good, and with the wet sounds remote I can set them on any color, or fade in and out to different colors, or flash blink. So far I like settling on one and leaving it there so its not as spastic. And beware the blue... Blue lights attract bugs. Just think of any lawn zapper with a blue light in it. But it looks really good when you are underway!

Thanks for all the comments. Sounds like a whole bunch of good people on this forum. Gonna bookmark it and visit regularly. I decided to not do led accent lights due to the high cost of only 4 light pods. I'm going to do all 9 speakers with led rings sounds like it will light up the boat beautifully. I have a couple pics of boat now but will get more when speaker mods are done.
