Pick it up in 2 weeks when my trailer is done...so sadly I'll be garage boating until spring.

Thank you! While a powerglide is a fine transmission, it has no place in a big block Corvette! ( Except maybe at the drag strip) It's set up with a close ratio 4 speed Muncie that has been built especially to compliment a solid lifter rat motor. Geared to Keep the RPMs right in sweet spot until you hit fourth and then she settles down and cruises. I like to drive my cars.
