Little Water in Bilge...Need to tighten plug?

I would definitely get that back to the dealer. No way that is normal. Fiberglass is able to be repaired but I’d want a structural analyst given its on a joint

Give that the boat was delivered brand new 3 weeks ago...too much to expect them to come back and pick it up, get it fix and then redeliver? Roughly 2 hrs. from the dealer ship. Sure...I can do it but for what the issues is, give that it's brand new, and what I paid...I don't think that's too much to expect. Given the situation I feel like white glove service is in order here?

I agree with you 100%. It surprising they didn’t catch that during the float test at the factory. Or maybe they just don’t run it long enough to check for those type of things? I’m sure it can be fixed, but it is irritating. You would think that cobalt would be eager to fix the issue as quick as possible just to protect their reputation as a quality builder. Keep us updated on how it goes for you.

UPDATE: Dealer is coming to pick up the boat on Thursday...so we will see what comes next.

That's good. The bad? Well the factory could want the boat back and then you are left with a loaner maybe?
Maybe the dealer will fix? Man keep us up to date on this.

UPDATE: As of now the dealer thinks that they leak is coming from the drain plug housing. They clearly see the water coming in but so hard to see the transom behind the engine. They are going to remove the housing, re-seal it, reinstall and check again for the leak.

So far they think the small crack next to the outdrive is just superficial (can and will get fixed) and not the cause of the leak

I’d take that over a crack in the transom any day! Hope it works out.
