Mounting Garmin UHD 93S4 Chartplotter on 2002 246

Has anyone ever mounted a Garmin UHD 93sv or similar sized chartplotter on a 2002 246?

No I don't have any pictures. I'm actually trying to figure out how to mount it. I guess more importantly...I'm trying to find out if the top of the dash is strong enough to support a depth finder of that size since it would need to be on a swing-arm mount. Or would the weight of it crack the dash where it is mounted if I hit a wave or something like that.

I think you'll be fine mounting it right there, drilling pilot holes and securing with screws engaging the fiberglass only.

But once you mount it, if you don't think it's secure enough, you could go with bolts all the way through with nuts underneath.
