New to Cobalt, not to boats
Hello all.
My wife and I recently purchased a '14 Cobalt 242 with the 380 Volvo. We're stepping WAY up from (but currently still own) an '07 Rinker Captiva 192. The Cobalt is of no comparison, as I'm sure you all know. We hope to get many years out of our new to us Cobalt. I have a great friend who steered me to these beautiful boats (He and his wife have an '07 Cobalt 242).
Here are a few pictures of before the purchase, and after bringing it home (Austin, TX to Topeka, KS) and giving her a proper cleaning.
Hoping to get a lot of friendly advice from those on this forum.

Welcome and great boat. 242 is a classic Cobalt for me.
I can't believe that no one here has asked about the engine yet.
Or talked you into spending more money. LOL

Re: New to Cobalt, not to boats
Thanks for all the warm welcomes!
I'll get more pictures soon, and I'll even get some great action shots. I do have a couple action shots from July 4th I can share. This is the first time my wife drove the "Nauti Weasel III" and she was actually towing my 2 daughters. Her brother is relaxing on the rear lounge, and his kids are with us as well. Second picture is of my nephews enjoying the ride. We were going about 30mph in this picture, but hard to tell because how smooth the ride is on this boat!
