R7/R8 Driver Seat Leg Room

There have been a number of posts regarding lack of leg room on the driver seat in the R7/R8 platform. I changed out the factory Garelick slider with the linked below Garelick product, and a couple of inches of slide length was added. It is a meaningful difference.

The leg room on the R6 is also tight. I stand most of the time so it's ok but would love to know if that is a straight swap or does it require drilling etc?

If it is a Garelick seat base then I expect the dimensions to be the same. It was a very easy swap using just a ratchet set. I can provide measurements from front to back and side to side if it would help. I won't be at the boat until Labor Day weekend.
