Trim tabs on CS23?

Post by Anesslet »

Hi All

I have no experience and very little knowledge with trim tabs. That said, I do read about them on this site. We have a 2021 CS23 and it works great, but the seating is such that most passengers are on the port side and the boat seems to lean that way.

Would trim tabs be an option for a CS23? Or are they for bigger boats? Curious on your thoughts/comments.

Thanks!
Andy

Yes and yes.
For passengers placement and on coming side wind that lean the boat it allows not only a stable and even running surface, but crossing on coming wakes the entry is smoother and won’t slam the downward side.

Imagine also that 1-2 foot windy day chop that you stay trimmed up but can now tab slightly the nose down for a clean smooth ride.
Tabs installed correctly will lift and stabilize the transom . I call them training wheels. Love them.

Lenco with dash indicated led lights and auto retract with key off.

Call and get the OE system that was used for your hull.
