LoPro Bilge Pump R7

Post by higginspa1371 »

Replaced pump and auto will not come on even with pump fully submerged. Manuel button at helm works. Calls for a 7.5 in line fuse to the battery, checked and it has a 1 amp fuse at the battery. Could this be the issue. Dealer tech said he would leave the 1 amp fuse because that is probably how it came from the factory. If any one has a chance can you check what inline fuse u have at the battery. 380 vp but i assume all the r series use the same rule lo pro pump.

Did you ever get this resolved? Was the 1 Amp fuse blown?

The 1 Amp fuse does not sound correct. The site below says that the Rule LoPro 900S draws 4 Amps. Elsewhere I have seen that the Rule LoPro is recommended to have a 7.5 Amp fuse.

7.5 fuse is in fuse box in front storage where amp is. Second pump failed and now fuse keeps tripping. Hope dealer can figure it out. I am assuming its a wiring issue.
