Help with Onboard Charger and Dead Batteries

Hi All,

Looking for some guidance.

I have a '22 R4. I have the 110V onboard charger installed from the factory - https://www.promariner.com/en/p/44028/P ... mps-2-Bank

About 2 months ago I picked up the boat from the dealer after a service. I parked the boat at my storage facility and plugged in the charger.

Today I went to check on the boat and both batteries were dead as a door nail. When I looked at the battery switch, it had been left on and to "combined batteries." I had figured the dealer had shut the battery off but should have checked but...

1) If the batters are left on combined AND it was plugged into the charger is it normal that the batteries would have both died. Meaning the boat was somehow drawing power faster than it could charge?

2) I have now turned the battery switch to "Off" and have it plugged in. Does the charger have the ability to charge a totally dead battery back to full?

Should not have drained the batteries.

If your batteries were indeed dead with zero voltage, the chance of them being salvageable is not very good.
