Anyone move from a R3 to R4 or R5 to R6?
Re: Anyone move from a R3 to R4 or R5 to R6?
I was in the same boat. Had a crownline e22. A 2021 R5 with low hours and good options showed up at the local dealer in July. Gave me good trade in and was willing to deal on price. Got him to kick in warm storage and winterization. We like the e22 but the R5 is a major step up. It's our forever boat.

Congrats! The R5 was at the top of my list! Unfortunately one never came in during the past year or so. My dealer just got in a 2015 R7 with 247 hours that was stored inside year round. It’s super clean! I have a deal pending a successful sea trial. It’s older than I wanted but this thing is loaded and honestly looks like it’s brand new. Enclosed storage was kind to this boat! All my worry about odd or even and 24 or 26 feet and I end up with the 28 footer. Fingers crossed the sea trial goes well! But I’m super pumped and feel like patience paid off. Once it all works out I’ll post pictures in the intro section. But I do appreciate everyone on this board for their advice. It’s a huge factor in my decision to go with a Cobalt!Pete12 wrote: Sun Sep 03, 2023 9:20 am I was in the same boat. Had a crownline e22. Nice to end up with more than you initially wanted.lghtspeedz wrote: Thu Sep 07, 2023 4:54 pmCongrats! The R5 was at the top of my list! Unfortunately one never came in during the past year or so.
