Trim Switch

Post by JimGilly »

Anyone replace their outdrive trim switch? My VP 350 R5 trim switch is excessively hard to operate; trim unit functions just fine, but it often takes two hands on the switch to get it to operate. Hoping to learn is that switch is replaceable, and if so, how hard or simple the job? Thanks for any advice.

Is this the switch located on the throttle control, or on the transom? If the transom, I'd pull the switch, and order that part number or cross reference it. It should be a pretty simple job.
