R6 Surf Trailer
R6 Surf Trailer
Hi Guys. I bought an R5 surf last year and the dealer set me up with a new trailer, however it is for an R6 surf. I didnt realize it until it was too late and so now I am stuck with it. It is a Boatmate trailer and a super nice one at that, but my R5 surf does not fit correctly on it. I have found a dealer to order a new one for me but I need to sell this one. Does anyone know of someone with an R6 surf who needs a trailer? If so, please have them reach out. Ill make you a smoking deal. Thanks!

Re: R6 Surf Trailer
What's the difference between the 2 trailers or boat hulls? Can you not move / extend the bunk boards or bow stop to make the R6 trailer work correctly?
Good luck with your sale. Post it up on the for sale section.

Re: R6 Surf Trailer
If the dealer made a mistake why aren’t they still on the hook to correct it? Not that much time has passed if you bought the boat last year.

There’s quite a bit of difference. Theres just enough difference with an R6 surf and an R5 surf that the boat doesn’t sit right. I’ve looked at moving some bunks but where the welds are, it’s just not feasible.NautiWeasel wrote: ↑Fri May 10, 2024 10:00 am What's the difference between the 2 trailers or boat hulls? Yea, if they're welded, and not just movable brackets, then I think you have the correct plan of action. The dealer should make this right... You should even be able to prove that's the trailer they gave you based on VIN# of the trailer. Don't let them say that what you have, isn't the trailer they gave you. It can be proven with correct paperwork.Jcm256 wrote: ↑Sun May 12, 2024 8:35 pmThere’s quite a bit of difference.
