Looking to adjust the settings to make he wave longer…. The standard “steep” setting works great for my 13yo girls but this old man needs something a little longer so I have a bigger sweet spot with push. Any ideas?
I wish I could see a chart that shows what effect each setting, ballast/PTA/speed, has on the wave.
New R8Surf, we love it, kids are getting better, I just need something for the less adventurous adults who just wanna ride the wave. Thanks all!!!

Re: R8 Surf Wave Settings
We love our R8 Surf… generally we have found the bigger the pta setting the bigger the waive and the more speed the longer it will be…. So full ballast with a 3 on the pta at 10.8 miles per hour has a shorter pocket than does same settings at say 11.2 mph.

I found 11.2 makes it a bit longer, but most prefer 10.8 mph...and we have been setting trim at 3% and turning off assist. Goofy has longer wave by nature than regular footers due to prop rotation

I agree, like to see how users like or set their waves up, since this post is a bit older, have you found different settings you like for different riders?rksalvador wrote: Mon Aug 08, 2022 8:46 am Looking to adjust the settings to make he wave longer….
