Hi All -
2019 R7 w/ 430
Check engine light / message comes up randomly. Usually during a 15+ min drive at constant speed around 25mph.
Other times, pulling tubes, wake boards, etc, there are no issues.
Boat seems to run fine. Normal pressures and temps.
Code/warning clears with restart. It’s just a single beep or two.
Still running last year’s (stabilized) fuel. Yeah, I know. Slow start. LOL
I’d like to purchase a code reader to have on-hand to get an idea of what’s going on. Google shows dozens of choices from $60 -$600+. Any suggestions on a solid unit? Not afraid to pay a little to get a reliable tool. Very familiar with automotive OBDII, emissions systems, etc but marine is foreign to me.
(Or ideas on the warning?)
Thanks all! Hope your summer is going well!

Should be able to retrieve the code with your Easy Connect app or the EVC display. Keep engine running when retrieving. You will lose the data once you remove power.

Thought so as well. I go to the fault page and hit “ok” but it doesn’t do anything. (Referencing a few videos and write ups)

Re: ‘19 R7 Check Engine
That’s the video I referenced. I hit “ok” from the fault page but nothing happens. Will try again when it sets the next code.
I think I briefly feel a loss of power and a change in the exhaust sound when it happens (only happens for a second or so)
I will also look in to the reader suggested above. Thank you!

Did you double click the OK button to read the fault code?tbully wrote: Wed Jun 26, 2024 6:51 am That’s the video I referenced. I hit “ok” from the fault page but nothing happens. Will try again when it sets the next code.
