Captain's Seat wobble

My captain's chair wobbles a bit where the upright tube meets the base. It's annoying.

Anyone know how to fix this, or source a replacement pedestal?

Weirdly, the wobble is at the floor, not at the bottom of the seat. I am talking to Chris @ Slide Rule but this isn't what I expected to find.

Anyone know if there's a way to tighten the post if I unbolt the base from the floor?

OK, I found what I think is the correct replacement pedestal.

Anyone know how the pedestal is bolted to the floor? Is there a metal plate in the fiberglass? I assume it's basically impossible to get to the backside of the holes, but I will look in the ski locker.
