Hi - third question in one day on this chat forum... Any idea where the fuse panel is in a 2020 SC 23? The owners manual says it's in the starboard front storage area - which would make sense as that is the area that backs up to the dashboard on the other side. But there's no fuse box there...(!?) On the port side of the boat in the same area where the dual battery switch is, there look to be maybe 5 fuses - but the labels there don't indicate they have anything to do with switches on the dash. Back to where the owners manual claims that it should be, I could attempt to take the entire panel off by removing, what, 8 to 10 phillips screws and then looking behind there - but I"m thinking surely Cobalt would put the fuse box in a very accessible area and not require significant disassembly in order to reach this unit. I'm stumped...! Yes, this question stems from me trying to find out why my horn won't work...
Thanks for any help.
Brian

Look under the dash and see if you can see any breakers there. If not, I'd pull the panel behind the front starboard seat and look around. It's there somewhere, but I've never had my head that far in a CS23.
By the way, there's a good chance you're looking for push button circuit breakers instead of fuses, so keep your eyes out for both.

So glad you found us Brian…
Like others mentioned; no fuse box. Look for a circuit breaker panel. Sometimes they’re under the dash most likely in an area that can be kept dry.
And welcome aboard mate!

Re: Location of the fuse panel on a 2020 23sc?
Just circling back as I did locate the circuit panel on my 2020 23 sc. Yes, it was exactly where the owner's manual said it would be. (under the seat that is directly in front of my dash) I looked at that SMALL black box when I first tried to find the circuit panel, and I simply surmised that the circuit panel had to be larger than a deck of cards. (Actually, it's slightly larger than three decks of cards stacked on each other). Also, the latches on both sides of the box are absolutely NOT user friendly. It takes a flathead screwdriver and some elbow grease to open that thing. Anyway, I did that, and the circuits were in there. Pretty descriptive map of what circuit controls what, is under the lid once I opened it up. Anyway, I replaced one of the circuits (the one where the horn isn't working) with a similar circuit of the radio - which does work - but, nope, horn still not working. Since I have the horn not working and I'm getting the occasional low system voltage warning on my garmin, my next step is to replace both of my marine batteries - my Cobalt service guy talked to me on the phone, and this is what he suggested. Most batterie manufactures claim 3 - 6 years life on the batteries. My boat is only 4 years old, lightly used, and in relatively year round warm weather in California. I would think a battery would last longer - and my battery on my previous Cris Craft lasted I think 10 years? - anyway, I'm hoping this will solve my horn/low system voltage issues....
