I like to call it "Mini Table Rock " we try to boat there every weekend. The Rock quarry is where we sometimes tie up and relax, or any cove for that matter.
You have to check out the quarry at Stockton at least once. May be windy getting to it but never windy inside.
Thanks! Gonna try to check it out this weekend.

I think my wife and I are going to be out there Saturday w/out the kids, celebrating our 26th anniversary. If I see you, I’ll say hi.
Sounds great, we should be there.

Derek or anyone else familiar with Stockton - any particular boat launch you recommend? Looking for one that has a dock(at the ramp) and good trailer parking. Thanks!

I had a few customers that were grandfathered into a campground at Stockton and raved about it.

Yeah, we enjoyed the heck out of it. We’re going on vacation at the end of the month and rented a place there, so we can spend some more time on it. Might even swing over to Pomme de Terre one of the days to check it out. I see you’re at Greers Ferry - I’d like to hit that one at some point. I was in Heber back in April and May.

I usually don't tell people this: it's a great lake. Dining and hotels are not as good as some other areas though.

Harry S Truman Lake and Stockton Lake are both great options for a weekend boating trip. Truman Lake is known for its expansive size and variety of coves and inlets, making it excellent for exploring and fishing. Stockton Lake is also a solid choice, offering a more relaxed atmosphere with fewer crowds.

I recently stayed at https://www.westgateresorts.com/hotels/missouri/branson/westgate-branson-woods-resort/, and it was a fantastic base for exploring the local area. If you’re looking for a good spot to unwind after a day on the water, it might be worth checking out.
