Trim tab wires location

Post by Dewilson1 »

I have 2016 26’SD . I’m add lenco trim tabs. The boat was already pre wired for them . I have located the wires on either side of the engine. But I am unable to locate the wires under the helm. Can someone point me in a better direction as to where they should be located. So I don’t have to remove anything unnecessarily. Thanks

.
So glad you found us Dw1…

Have you checked your owner’s manual? I know ours had the wiring diagrams for our 262 & 263.

Any pics?

And welcome aboard mate.

I had Lenco tabs installed on my A28 by a very reputable shop. The wiring harnesses were in the engine compartment, but wires had NOT been run to the helm. We double and triple checked. Lenco also sells a wiring harness/extension, but you should confirm this is the correct part. Lenco Actuator Extension Harness $36 on Amazon.
