Sorry in advance for bringing a four year old thread back to life, but I am planning to add an amp to our base system in our 2022 CS23 and am looking for guidance on install. The 2022 has a Fusion black box (MS-WB670, 4 channel built in amp) and the same 6 RF speakers. How are the four rear speakers wired? Do they split off at the back of the headunit or are they wired in parallel with the speakers located at the port and starboard consoles? I was originally going to do a Fusion 4 channel with DSP for easy programming (since the black box has DSP) but now I am wondering if I should do a 6 channel. Not looking for huge gains, just a bit cleaner sound when turned up while cruising. Thoughts on 4 channel vs 6 channel? The headunit has three sets of RCA pre-outs and is capable of 3 zone control so the volume for each pair of speakers could be separately controlled (currently its only set up for two, with the four rear speakers being zone 2 and the bow being zone 1).

I did something similar in my 210, and decided it made sense to go with a separate amp channel for each speaker. It's not much more expensive to do it that way, and I used an older JL audio 600/6 amplifier - something like this current model - https://creativeaudio.net/xdm600-6-uob-k/

Ironically that is the exact route I'm taking as well. Boat is finally in the driveway and project is underway. Appreciate the response!
