Adding a tower
Has anyone added the folding tower to 2022 CS22 after owning it for a while? Curious how difficult it would be for a DIYer

Re: Adding a tower
Late reply, but I just saw this question as I don't visit the site much off season.
I helped a buddy, fellow member on this forum, install a tower on his 232. He contacted Samson (maker of the factory Cobalt towers) and had one custom made. Our first step was to measure the beam exactly at a few points, as no boat is exactly the same, and Samson wanted to be sure the tower was placed exactly where it needed to be on his boat, as the supports are where they are. After measurements, sending the tower feet back to Samson after being modified, then installing it ourselves (2 of us)... it was definitely not an easy task. My buddy's words exactly, he would have rather driven to Samson, paid them to install, and drive back. That is from KS to Washington state. It was doable, but not easy. I would put it up there with rebuilding an engine or transmission, as far as attention to detail goes. No special tools needed though, so there's a plus.
