Hello All,
First post on here and first time Cobalt owner. At the end of last summer I purchased a new R6, but since it was late in the season I figured to let the marina store the boat for the season and I would purchase the trailer in 2026. I did some research over the winter and I found load master out of Florida made a quality trailer, and had fit many Cobalt boats, however, they only do bunker trailer, not rollers. I have been a big fan of rollers since I towed my previous boat for many years. When I inquired about why no roller trailer, they replied with to much harm and damage over time to the hull. I looked for other roller trailer companies but I really can't seem to find one that will specifically fit the Cobalt, especially the windless. I'm familiar with the pros and cons of rollers but honestly still lean that way. So my question, does any one have a R6 on a roller trailer with windless, if so can you provided the manufacturer information. I will probably go through the dealer but they are going to use a third party, since Cobalt are only bunkers, I believe. I would like to have some information myself before I contact them and discuss it. If possible, can you provide ball park what you paid. The bunker trailer was 12K.

Re: Trailer question
.
So glad you found us Chappy22.
I do not recall seeing any roller type trailers under most Cobalts for the reasons you know about. That being said, hopefully someone here can help you locate one for your R6. Any pics of your Cobalt?
And welcome aboard mate.

Re: Trailer question
Cobalt didn't sell their own trailers until quite recently, so you'll find a lot of higher-end trailer manufacturers who have produced Cobalt trailers over the years. Heritage, EZ Loader Loadmaster, Boatmate, and Eagle are all common, but I think all are bunks instead of rollers for the reasons described above.
edit - here's an interesting but older thread on trailer selection - viewtopic.php?t=311
