Took the Bimmer to the track a week or so ago. Ran a 13.6 @ 106 mph, better than I thought it would do. Going to do another road race event this coming Saturday.

Speakin' my language, t550. Any production car that does under 14 seconds in the quarter mile is "fast" in my book. 8-)

You might enjoy these then. I used to play with late model GM trucks.

My first one was a 2001 extended cab 4wd Silverado. 408 stroker motor with a GT4202R turbo. Ran a best of 11.27 @ 120 mph.

Second one was a 99 reg cab 1500 4wd that I swapped a LLY Duramax into, added a compound turbo kit. Ran a best of 11.83 (can't remember mph, didn't get that pass on video). This is a pass before I did the compounds.

Impressive Chris!

Isn't it funny how we Cobalt owner's seem to all share that affinity for speed!

As cliche as it is...never get's old. :D

It's a sickness, and we all have it. The only treatment is... MORE SPEED!

Great movie too! I'm still impressed by the in-flight footage in that movie. Really gets my adrenaline going 8-)

Great view Tusc. Where are you guys located? I did my undergrad down there and have family and friends spread pretty much Miami to Jacksonville, Tampa to Daytona.

Ski, we are off of Bonita Beach blvd, about a half mile off off of 41 in Bonita Springs. Just the perfect spot. A few miles from Naples and about 17 miles to Ft. Myers.

Different kind of track day today :) My wife caught the aftermath of a yellow S2000 going up the berm and through the fence (he was not injured). My buddy was right behind him in a black Audi RS4, got it on video. I'll try to get it from him. They red flagged our group because of that guy, was supposed to be a 20 minute session but only got 2 laps. Bummer.
