Heritage Trailer Wiring Question

It's our pleasure. Like you we all like being on here and picking each other no matter what our faults are. I can't type or drive. It gives them a reason to pick on me. Yes it should have the lockout. I personally would just add the connector on the tractor. 1/2 hour that it would take to add it will make it so much easier in the future. Hey guys, I probably wasn't clear but the mechanical lockout/pin is what I was asking about. I don't have a picture of the front of my trailer that shows where it goes.

Due to space issues in front of the garage I can't put my boat in the garage or take it out with the truck and the electrical lockout connected. I put a hitch on the front of the Kobata which really makes tight maneuvering easy. I just never put a power and ground out the front of the tractor to hook the trailer 5 pin harness to. I can do that if needed but as long as there is a mechanical lockout available on the trailer I am good. I just wanted to make sure the Heritage trailer has that mechanical provision.

I'll say this the people on this forum are super helpful to a new guy like me and I appreciate it.

Don't pay any attention to that boat, its' my old Bryant 210, but you can kind of see my tractor set up.

You don't need a special pin. I used to use a nut that would fit in that same spot, and some duct tape to hold it in. You just need to stop the actuator from working.

Before I had my jeep wired I used an old screwdriver that fit. I just dropped it in, push the boat back. Then pull the screwdriver out.
