Hey RobF....you found us!!!!

Originally saw your video posted a few hours ago on youtube. I was the one who posted in the comment section (under your youTube vid) inviting you to find us here (AsLan7). You made it!! 8-)
Nice job my friend.

How did you get into Cobalts?

Obviously you taped that from your TV set.
I take it you are a 19 owner based upon the reaction when that boat popped up on the screen???
Feel free to let us know your story. We of course love pics. You're already a winner with a video post.

Once again, welcome aboard Mate!!
Btw...here is the desktop version for those who want to view from their PC or Laptop....

Thanks! I got my first ride in the Cobalt when I was 3 in 1982. My dad bought one brand new in 1882, a 19br. It was custom because it had a fully teak floor. Next boat he bought was a new Cobalt 222 condurre with 454 in 1989. Drove it until 2011, two Motors later. Now, a few years ago I bought a 1988 222 with a big block for my family of 6!
My father was a cobalt dealer in the 80's, this is a vhs that is 55 minutes long looping this short video intended to be played at the coffee table at a marina or a boat show booth.
Cheers!
P.S. I created space in my phone and rerecorded the full video without our commentary. I'll post it and attach the link. When i get a chance. It isn't much longer.

Oh, that's cool. Family of 6!....and with a history of Cobalt in the family, you'll fit right in here brutha'.

Any pics of that Condurre (you or your dad's). Great pic of you at the helm. That smile says it all. :D

Tremendous group of folks on this forum. ...plus we love all boats here (including sail believe it or not!). Feel free to join in on the discussions. Everyone brings "something to the table" so to speak. We love pics-- so the more you post, the better! :D :D :D

Btw, how old is your dad??? With that year 19br, he may have seen the Monitor or Merrimack. :D You and BigBlockPower will get along just fine.... ;)

Thanks again Rob.

Hope you can stay awhile as we would love to see more pictures, videos, and of course read about your family’s boating experiences.

Love that Cobalt enthusiasm! 👍🏻🚤

So we decided against making new members submit to and fail a personality test then?

Fun video to see from when Cobalt was still pretty young - thanks for posting it!
